Volunteer Opportunites
Ways to Get Involved
We invite compassionate community members to assist us with meeting our mission and helping survivors. Some programs that volunteers can assist with include:
SISTERS OF SURVIVORS
These volunteers provide mentorship and support to survivors. We match a survivor with their mentor based on each person's goals, personality, and needs.

All survivors in this program are receiving professional therapy services. Mentors are peer support-based.
RETAIL STORE
We need volunteers to help manage and run our store alongside our survivors. Volunteers can assist with the check-out counter, inventory, and job training.

Additionally, volunteers can help us plan special events and fundraisers at the shop.
FUNDRAISING
Volunteers can plan fundraisers, donation drives, and events to ensure we have the means to continue our programs for survivors. Many of our events are fun and exciting opportunities to support survivors, including group shopping parties at our shop, tea parties, picnics, and more!
NURSING HOPE
We are partnered with Augusta Health in ensuring that all of our survivors get the medical attention they need when staying at our emergency apartment. We welcome nurses, doctors, EMTs, mental health providers, and other medical professionals to contact us to learn more about how they can volunteer with us to help survivors.
Volunteer Application
Due to the nature of our work, it's important for us to ensure survivors, volunteers, and our team can work alongside each in a safe environment. For our agency, a safe environment means one where all can thrive emotionally, physically, and mentally.
We have an application process as it gives our team an opportunity to meet with prospective volunteers and ensure they are equipped for their volunteer duties. Additionally, it gives a chance for volunteers to ask questions. Please note that volunteers may be subject to a background check. This is only used to ensure that perpetrators of human trafficking and exploitation are not brought into the program. Our goal is keep everyone safe, healthy, and happy.
